The next lecture in the CITY Seminar series welcomes Jean Paul Addie (PhD Candidate, Geography York University) who will be presenting "Flying high (in the competitive sky): The role of airports in an age of globalized regionalism." This event will be held on Friday March 1st, from 12:30-2:00pm in room 519, York Research Tower.
Jean-Paul Addie is a PhD candidate in the Department of Geography at York University. His doctoral dissertation provides a critical comparative analysis of urban governance and transportation infrastructure in Chicago and Toronto from 1909-2010. His work has been published in Environment and Planning A, Local Economy, and Urban Geography. He is currently involved in collaborative research projects exploring comparative metropolitan governance in Canada and Europe. Jean-Paul has worked as a course instructor and teaching assistant in the Department of Geography at York University, and as a research assistant at the City Institute.
