A recent presentation given by FES grad students at a City of Toronto transit event was featured in the Huffington Post. The students had participated in a Critical Planning Workshop in Montpellier, France as part of CITY's MCRI “Global Suburbanisms” project.
The article was written by Imelda Nurwisah, an FES student who participated in the workshop and presented at the event. In the article she discusses the lessons on transit and 'pro-active planning' that this group of students learned through their experiences in Montpellier, and how this insight can be applied to Toronto.
