The recent conference Peforming Diaspora 2013: The History of Urban Music in Toronto, co-sponsored by CITY, was featured in the latest edition of YFile.
The first annual conference was held on June 1st and featured the the “scholarship of budding Canadian hip hop academic alongside the oral histories of Toronto’s pioneering Hip Hop practitioners in order to explore and uncover the history of Toronto Hip Hop.”
