CITY and NDP jointly host summit, ""Re-imagining Our Cities: Towards a Comprehensive Strategy for the Urban Economies of Southern Ontario"

The CITY Institute and the NDP jointly presented a summit addressing social and economic challenges for Toronto, titled "Re-imagining Our Cities: Towards a Comprehensive Strategy for the Urban Economies of Southern Ontario." The event was held Friday, April 13th and was also featured in a recent NOW magazine article.

The latest federal budget focuses heavily on resource extraction, but has no plan for Canada’s urban centres – where 80 percent of Canadians actually live.
