Dear Graduate Students:

You are cordially invited to submit a proposal for Visions, Collaborations, & Transformations: The First Annual York University Graduate Student Research Conference in the Social Sciences & Humanities. This conference is a special multidisciplinary event that aims to connect participants within the social science communities at York University and beyond.
We welcome proposals for panel presentations (approx. 15 mins/presentation).
Themes for the conference align with Canada 150:
Diversity & Inclusion; Indigenous Peoples; Environment(s); Youth.
Some ideas/topics for consideration in drafting proposals:

  • Social justice, diversity & equity;
  • Experiential learning, participatory methods, community-situated learning;
