City Institute Research Assistant awarded a Dean’s Award for Research Excellence

The Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies has launched the Dean’s Award for Research Excellence (DARE) this year. DARE provides opportunities for undergraduate students to engage in research projects supervised by professors. They will each receive $5,000, and will work on their research projects during the summer term. Learn more about the DARE program.

The City Institute's Research Assistant Rawan Mostafa was awarded a Dean’s Award for Research Excellence for the 2018-2019 academic year. Rawan will work on the project titled: "Urbanization, gender and the global south: a transformative knowledge network ". The project is housed in the City Institute, and Rawan will be supervised by Professor Linda Peake.
